What it is that distinguishes absolute from the relativity?

Poem Artwork

We are
not only
what we are
but a part
of the whole.
We are
but a moment
sleeping on the
lap of time
as the dew drops
on the leaves
of time.
Yes, in this
world of relativity
absolute has no place.
Absolute cannot imagine
its life without the relativity
and relativity cannot grow
unless the heart in which
it lives, grows with it.
But what it is
that distinguishes
absolute from the relativity?
The solution may open up
new horizons and lay
the foundations
of new canons
of understandings.
Whatever they be,
We have tasted both.
A portion of us lives
both in the absolute
and the relativity.
Love, it is a bridge
between them.
They inter-connect through it.

It's a poetic formula, E=mc2 but instead of splitting something, you have bonded it. Bravo fine poet friend
Glad to read you again

Quite profound, Bhuwan; and we should all use that moment as wisely as you do.

"We are but a moment sleeping on the lap of time"... what a wonderful truth and picture that is, Bhuwan. For some that sleep is very troubled whilst for others it is taken with ease. We are so very temporal and yet part of an absolute and eternal "bigger picture", I believe. That love is the redemptive and sustaining essence is, in my mind, without question. It is the bridge, as you say, between humanity; between us and God; between the past, present and immortal future. Living in love, we can indeed bring together the absolute and the relative. I believe that there IS absolute truth - and that love is it! You speak the words of a prophet here, Bhuwan. Blessed are your children to be nurtured and fathered by you. LOL Kate xx

I echo Robert's comments. If only humanity could just come to that understanding, this would be a much better place to live in. I like this poem very much.
