Poem Artwork

A real drama takes place, outside the theatre,
in the stage of life, swayed by the wings of time.
Oh! How intimately intertwined, the two-sides
of man’s life are, on the one hand, lies the
rapture of, “love” and on the other hand, lies the
tragedy of, “loss”. Alas! Man is but an effigy
restrained by the chains of the uncertainty. He
spends all his time, searching for the thing that
is already within himself and curses his own destiny
for not giving him the moment, to have an orgasm
with the certainty………………….with the certainty.

Dear Bhuwan,

Sometimes when we look to hard at finding what we think we need, we tend to overlook that which is right before us and or within ourselves. Hence as you say, you miss the moment, but not all is lost, should one recognise the desire that one seeks, rekindle the moment and make it work.... with the certainty. May the chains of uncertainty disappear. Stunning write Bhuwan !!

Profound observations, my friend. We always want what we don't have and can't seem to know the true value of what we have got. You do this so well. Glad I stopped by.

How dearly I agree with you about Man being an effigy
restrained by the chains of uncertainty. It's calm in my soul now that I know that someone else sees it too. I love it, Bhuwan.

Yes, we become blinded to what is right before us and we don't listen to the voice inside us. So many cling to perceptions that are no longer relevant, because they want to be shown the path and how to walk...because of fear and because they have stopped listening to their heart. Fine write, Bhuwan

So acute, Bhuwan! This is like a verse from The Classics - but then, you are Classical Man in pursuit of the highest roads in life whilst walking the shadows of death and destruction. If I could just draw breath for one second, you would hear my stilled heart and mind say: "This man knows how to touch heaven while changing earth, and still he leave me speechless". This is so universal and yet so deeply personal as well. The depths of our emotions and senses become the source of energy to keep us moving through the length of days when things are tough; what bitter agony when even those drives are at odds with one another, bringing even the soul into fracture. Powerful in both content and delivery. May God protect and provide. LOL Kate xx

Hi Bhuwan:

Life is uncertain for many -

Like a book being read for the first time,
We turn its chapters, one page at a time.

For every unread chapter turned is a mystery,
its characters leaps into our lives:
some bad, some good, and some in between.

The bad are very bad!
How can we avoid them leaping into our lives?
The good are very good!
They do inspire us to live a good life.
The in betweens zig-zag between the good and the evil,
they leap into our lives as our friends,
but backstab us frequently when we least expect it.

I had seen so many types of
the good, the bad, and the evil;
yet I'm still uncertain about my life.
I can only be certain to be good
as much as possible about myself.

Hopefully this certainty
will beat the uncertainty in my life.
