Ah! Death, “Come, come and try
what the life here is like.” Let us sit down
and play dice with the time. You, of course,
can lay your arms around me. But please,
keep your kisses away from me. It is life,
and only life, I would kiss on the mouth.
Ah! Death, raise your head, and see
in their eyes, the misery of the heaven.
And let them glimpse in your eyes,
the beauty of this world.
This is Magnificent!
I love this. Much power strength and a deep strong message in this too.
The last 4 lines especially say all so much of keeping balance.
Magnificent
Thanks

Death is a march to take our souls to higher ground. It comes with those we love and reverred more than our own. Death is the postman of the darker world who guide us to the next power...in some cases. Death is thought of as fear. Death is transition for me. This is a well thought out poem Bhuwan.
Thank you,
Susan
