Poem Artwork

Forgive me, my love.
Embrace me in your arms.
I would like to die on your lap,
rather than live alone without you.

To be with you,
I have given up everything
that was bad in me.
So that I may become,
worthy of your love.

What should I do?
Tell me, what should I do,
to gain your love yet again,
and be with you?

Should I cry, starve, or
bang my head on the wall,
and pour out my mind
into the cusp of your life.

Should I walk upside-down,
as the dancing ape;
with my hands down and legs up,
at the edge of the earth.

Tell me, my love.
What should I do?
To gain your love,
yet again and be with you.

Should I munch my flesh, or drink
my semen, and give birth to the trust,
or smolder myself with the moraine ashes
of the cremation ground.

Should I chop the mountain’s crest,
with the machete of freedom, or
accept the suppression of the tyrant,
and wash my face with the democrat’s blood.

What should I do?
Tell me, what should I do,
to gain your love yet again,
and be with you?

Should I deceive my fate,
or detach the light from the sun, or
stop the rain from falling down,
by burning the sky- with human’s pride.

Should I call the temple,
a haven of the sinners, or
bribe the priest, to
worship the devil’s soul.

Tell me, my love.
What should I do?
To gain your love,
yet again and be with you.

Should I kiss the vampire,
and garnish my neck
with the tattoos
of death.

Should I dance naked,
beneath the chilly winter frost,
or walk over the landmines,
and wave good-bye, to my legs.

What should I do?
Tell me, what should I do,
to gain your love yet again,
and be with you?

Should I get drunk,
with the cocktail of dearth, or
blend the pauper’s hope with the alcohol,
and intoxicate the whole world.

Should I laugh with joy,
when the shrieks of the widow
awakens me, from my slumber
every night.

Tell me, my love.
What should I do?
To gain your love,
yet again and be with you.

Should I walk
towards the revolution,
without waiting for it to come to me, or
eat the bullets, and digest the tyranny.

Should I spit,
on the face of the disparity,
or puke all over
the corpses of the humanity.

What should I do?
Tell me, what should I do,
to gain your love yet again,
and be with you?

Should I slumber,
in the arms of the sky,
and paint the rainbow black
with the barren lips of my tongue.

Should I solve,
the riddles of the Nash,
or try to decipher
the lines of my palm.

Tell me, my love.
What should I do?
To gain your love,
yet again and be with you.

Should I estrange,
the days from the month, or
irrigate my misdemeanor
with the pristine tears of the poor.

Should I lure my own sisters,
to the Indian brothel, or
sell my own kidney,
and pay rent to your heart.

What should I do?
Tell me, my love, what should I do
to gain your love yet again,
and be with you?

Should I scrape myself from me
to be with you, or
walk in the pathless path
with the hope of being with you.

Should I beg from the blind,
an eye to see the world
the way you are seeing it, or
close my eyes, to perceive the eternity.

Tell me, my love.
What should I do?
To gain your love,
yet again and be with you.

A thousand pranaams at your feet.
Forgive me the wrong,
I had done to you-fortuitously.
To be with you,
I have given up everything
that was bad in me.

Come here!
Come here in my arms again!
Please don’t hesitate.

You may deprive me
of whatever I possess,
but please do not
deprive me from you, my love!

Dear Bhuwan,

A poem so intense, so filled with love. Though your 2nd stanza leaves me feeling a little heartsore, should love not encompass all? Acceptance of another as a whole is what love is truly about, when we "change" to please someone else, is this not asking for trouble? Will the cracks not begin to show with time? Just my personal thoughts, nevertheless a superb write Bhuwan.

WHAT A FEVERISHED OUTPOURING!!! You have caught my breath and shaken it out of my body with this powerful( pah! what understatement!) write, Bhuwan! NEVER have I felt such passion that is just pulsating off the page. If ever I needed to feel the power of love in human frame, this is it. I feel that this explosion is almost blowing your body from soul and the energy could fuel a small city. So many lines here that are just BEYOND COMPARE. I certainly have personally never felt, let alone been able to express such tantamount feeling and I don't think I could readily have understood the possibilities of love's depth and unyielding force until I read this driven poem. It loses energy nowhere and I feel you could have gone on FOREVER in the force of it. I am totally floored. You have made me understand how such a love is stronger than death and even life and eternity itself. Thank you for opening my eyes and such is the depth of this that I can have no doubt that it is rooted in reality. Be well, Bhuwan, and may your love receive you into the cusp of her bountiful lap soon. No wonder your children are so blessed if this is the magnitude of the love with which they are loved. No wonder this is your calling. You are love personified. My love and prayers for you all ALWAYS. Your preciousness decks me. LOL Kate xx
