Poem Artwork

I am romancing with the death
in this heaven of the hell
massaged by life’s gravity
-just as on earth, the moon kisses
the oceans, back and forth
-forth and back;
dipping the cosmic drops
-buckling and grinding away,
from the ruptures of it’s obligatory
-the moment in its journey,
towards the eternity.

such a love of words, only through this love could such a scenario be envisioned and expressed so clearly and succinctly. kudos, poet.

...", back and forth - forth and back;" this is a tightly crafted verse that encapsulates that pull and sway; I love the way you capture the rocking, lilting motion in this fluid movement, Bhuwan, and yet use the strong diction of the harsh syllables which captures the frustration of dis-content rather than comfort: "in this heaven of the hell"; "buckling and grinding away, from the ruptures of it's obligatory"... Very cleverly executed. Life's balance and tension is caught here - also its paradoxes and inevitable interface. The sense of inevitability is strong. Excellent poetry - thank you. Very powerful. Bless you and stay safe and well - any news?! :)) LOL Kate xx

Dear Bhuwan,

It is part and parcel of lifes' transition, but admittedly, some romance with death in the "hell of hell" A powerful thought provoking write.

I think that we're all dancing with death
whether we want to admit it or not. It is,
afterall, a part of this life.

When time comes for a person to pass away, a duel takes place between life and death. Life is in love with the would-be deceased while death is in the beauty saloon preparing herself to honeymoon with life's boyfriend. And death will win, leaving life to cry when the casket is lowered into the grave. Life feels robbbed by SOMEONE CALLED DEATH.

Like this see-saw of life there must be something on the other end for us to balance the gravity that holds us together while riding us up or down but allowing us to balance ourselves if we so choose.

As we romance with Life, dear Bhuwan, it just so happens that, sometimes, we find ourselves romancing with its other Face... but such is the quality of the Absolute, to understand it one needs to be aware that it is the fruit of the romance of everything with its own opposite. Otherwise, how could we believe that beginnings always follow apparent ends and that there is light in the mirror image of darkness? One more superb creation, my gifted friend!

Amazing metaphor Bhuwan, yes it is the same motion
we are all going through in this daily back and forth
stuggle to keep our balance in this disturbed world!
Superb poetry, my friend!
