Poem Artwork

“If I read a sentence or two,
and if it takes me away from myself,
to the world unseen,
to the world unexplored,
by nature, all free and equal
far away from this complex world,
to the pastoral world simple,
when they sing, dance, drink, smile,
and feast together, all together,
without boasting about their religion,
cast, creed, wealth, nationality,
education, knowledge, and occupation,
I know that is poetry.”

Bhuwan, that indeed is poetry and some
fine, happy thoughts and we don't need
to boast of our spirituality, just live it.
If only we can see the innocence of love.

Extraterrorestrial Beings v4 by RickthePoetWarrior

Our heroes are revealed for all they are, the final flash of a dying star, for with this pen I do they mar, with hopes I leave ‘em all a scar.
