Immortal Is A Mortal Word

Poem Artwork

Immortal is a mortal word
of ultramodern fascination,
with its ceaseless dynamism,
in every mortal’s manifestation.

Immortal is dead as any corporal
and is entombed so still and hidden,
down underneath the mortal’s sin,
in this god’s massive mediocre bin.

Immortal is motive for the souvenir,
when they have forgotten the mortal
and their immense miseries of survival,
which embellishes the soul’s pectoral.

Immortal is the indication of death,
which grants us a sojourn juncture
and comes back when our time is up,
to cease our breath of lime and sugar

Immortal is the silence in commotion
and it speaks without verbal mutation,
the grandeur of mortal’s hallucination
and their veiled extension of the survival

An excellent write my friend,
we all think, at one time or another, to be immortal in life,
I rather be immortalzed, in the memories of my children and grand children.

Bhuwan, immortal is what we all seek. Some cannot see immortality. Other like myself will go to their graves believing in it. There comes a time as we age, that what we have as mortals is not of much value. If death be the end, it is better to die than survive as a mortal; when there is nothing left to live for. All of us go through these stages. We are made by nature to experience life and death and what anyone else thinks about immortal makes no difference. What will happen will happen to all of us. If there be no immortality, then we will never know. When we die it will be finished and we won't even be as large as a grain of sand in the universe. Your thoughts will come back to your words of today as you hopefully move toward old age. And you will be surprised how you view your poem them. Bill
