Poem Artwork

The more we sleep,
The more we dream
And in our dreaminess,
We believe in our dreams,
But we are undeceived only
When we wake up from our sleep.

But….

The less we sleep,
The less we dream
And in our realism,
We believe in our strengths,
And we would never be deceived
By this hallucination called dreams

So….

It is good to dream
But it is better to wake up
And labor resolutely,
To make our dreams
Come true , for realization
Pays much dividends than the illusion

Perhaps reality is a dream? Excellent piece!

So true, however they both go hand and hand. The dream is the start or beginning point. Your poem covers the reality.

Bhuwan, Shakesphere said, "to sleep, perchance to dream, ay there's the rub. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come must give us pause. For that's what
makes calamity of so long life. For who would fordels bear to grunt and sweat under a weary life, but that the dread of something after death; the undiscovered country from whose borne no traveler returns, puzzles the will and makes us rather bear the ills we have than fly to others we know now of. Soft you now the fair Ophelia. Nymph in thy orisons, be all thy sins remembered." Well ... I got a little carried away. Great poem. Bill

Augh but for dreams we would be dull individuals during our waking hours. Good to see that love abounds till with you.

Peace and harmony,
