It is only when you use your mouth to spread the message
Of love and use your hand to build the beautiful world
You can call youself human being. So scrutinize your
Actions and confess. Who are you? Are you really human?
Or is it just the delusion that you are living through.
Birds don’t have hands like ours
Still they build nest in the trees
With their beaks. We human beings
Have able hands but unfortunately
We employ them to demolish
The domicile of our fellow beings
And use our mouth to verbally abuse
And degrade their moral esteem
Why can’t we be like birds?
Who soars in the sky, chirping the
Glory of harmony and love for all
Sans envying the nest of others
With gentle attitude and liberal heart
Let us learn from the birds and built
A beautiful world for all of us to live
Since we are not born to sow
The seeds of repugnanace, in the virgin
Heart of the Earth, but we are born to
Spread the fragrances of hallowed
Love, in every corner of this Earth

You are a fine, fine poet.....with a deep and beautiful mind....thanks for sharing this.....Dani
This poem shows how strongly you feel about love being spread. Sometimes my emotions bring me to tears when I think of all those that hurt others. Birds are beautiful role models for all of us human beings & so are you. Thanks for sharing this lovely write.

I was just watching some birds through my window, before I read this poem. Beautiful write. We could learn a lot from the birds.
Bhuwan, a beautiful, deep and incisive write. Yes, man is a big failure in many ways. God gives us many gifts and we use so few. I have failed so miserably with a life that is almost spent. This is not what I wanted for myself or the world. You have a chance to fulfill the dreamas I once had of peace and harmony. Make the most of it as you have with this poem. Your friend.

Marvelous write Bhuwan!I agree, birds fascinate me, I watch them from my upstairs porch and they are incredibly smart. I have a whole family of bluejays that come and feed twice a day on the railing of my porch and I stand there and talk to them;-) they are marvelous...
another wonderful write my friend, you bring with you, words of wisdom
Excellent

Nicely done. But I don't want to be a bird. [smiles] All life is an illusion. Not quite as bad as the movie 'Matrix' but it is the illusion of what we want people to believe. Thoughtful work. You are a sage as well as a marvelous poet. Bravo. Fine work.
These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
