Poem Artwork

In poverty ridden nations of this world
People are starving and the death is
Dancing naked to the tunes of famine
Shaking the foundation of existence
With an earthquake of food scarcity
Whilst in reverse part of the world
They talk of eradicating the famine
But plunge million dollar bombs
Into the very heart of the humanity
Wounding and killing thousands
In the name of amelioration and liberty
And ironically aborts the humanitarian aid
Citing acute capital deficiency

Bravo Bhuwan! You highlighted the hypocrisy of the Western civilisation that survives on our blood and money...I love this poem... Write more on things that affect the never-allowed-to-develop nations.
Nepal? Such a magical place to be born lucky you!

People listen to you, Bhuwan ...keep writing, caring and speaking out for those in need, as you always do. This is excellent.

Let each individual try to do their personal best to help those in need. Prayers are always said for those that are suffering. You have a wonderful heart Bhuwan.

bhuwan, you are too polite to point out
that we in the west sponge up an inordinate
share of earths resources relitive to our
proportion of the population...

Third world mother's plea.

Please...
don't let my baby die,
he is starving...so am I.
in your homes so safe and sure...
spare 'a little' for the poor.

Please...don't turn your eyes away,
without you he may die today.
I hold his little body near,
it is so close to death I fear.

There is no water I can give,
please...oh please, do help him live.

The flies are swarming on our pain,
there is no food,
there is no rain.

I fear perhaps it is too late,
I have NO HOPE if you should wait.
His breath is shallow on my ear,
I have no strength to shed a tear.

Please...don't let my baby die,
but IF you do...
then
WHY...OH,WHY????

*****************
I feel my poem (written years ago) is apt as a comment as it is what I truly feel 'She' would say if she could, the third world mother's...thank you for showing us this and never stop exposing their pain, one day we might just all get together and change the way things are,I hope....the sooner the better.

I have been reading about this, we need to do something to help them, sending more money that does not get to them is no good, we need food and medicine.

Bhuwan, it will never end until paradise on earth is established with the return of Christ. The worlds population is increasing and as it increases our ability to feed it decreases. There will always be famine and
death. But we can't stop it, we can only slow its progress. We should try much harder than we do. Your heart is pure and loving, and you I know will do all you can. Bill
