Gold dust blinds all eyes It makes the wrong, right It makes the black, white It makes the night, bright And it fluctuates the beat Of the heart, like the swing Of the clock, from one End to the another, with the Covetous desire, lured by The false glitter of its illusion But don’t sell your heart, for The pot of gold because it is Love and not wealth, that Regulates our life, since no man Is rich enough to live without Love, with only transient wealth Alongside his ravenous heart Copyright 2003 Bhuwan Thapaliya
