Can't live with mankind....and we can't live without them. In many instances mankind creates something outstanding and then it backfires causing more damage then good! Your concerns are shared by many my friend. Great write!!

Bhuwan, you are so right, and I agree with your superb write! However, the world will never cease progress until it is forced to and by that time it will be too late. Greed and power from corporations on down to those who don't care about anything but faster cars,and more of all the things that degrade our environment.I'm guilty too, I like my Air Conditioning and refrigeration,
both of which they say is causing the ozone problem. So, what do we do? Wish there were an answer.;-)

This is an excellent portrayal of our status, Bhuwan, yet it emphasizes an "Evil Creature" in humanity without, it seems to me, addressing the real culprit. I think man is not evil, just ignorant of what unbridled propagation has done/is doing/will do to our environment. Is there any doubt that you would not be called upon to write this beautiful poem if the population of man were say, at twenty percent of its current state and were stable? I think we would be writing of happier circumstances.

Mankind is the only species that spits on the water they drink... mankind is the only species that kills not for eating... mankind is the only species that cuts the tree which gives them shadow... and thus mankind is condemning itself to death.
