Scrutinize your life completely
And change the course of your life
Because the course you travel
Determines the happiness of your life
Explore your passion
Discover your potentials
Focus on your dreams
And devote your time
To make a difference
And stick with it
Like a limpet to the rock
Think those thoughts that invigorates you
And not those thoughts that drains you
For what you think
And how you act
Determines the happiness of your life
Create your own road
Pave it with the labor
And saunter on its path
No matter how tough
The road becomes
In the journey of your life
Because obstacles testes
The limits of our soul
But the comfortable road
Compresses our soul
And it is the valor of your heart, which,
Determines the happiness of your life
You will fail
From time to time
No matter how hard you try
Get used to it
Face its reality
Be a seasoned campaigner
Learn to fight back
Never, never quit
Optimism is what makes
Your tomorrow fruitful
For courage and not luck
Determines the happiness of your life
Live your life to the fullest
Getting the most out of each day
You have the same amount of time
24 hours a day that everyone has
You don’t need more time
But you need to handle your time properly
For the fulfillment of your dreams
But all dreams are not equal
Some are life augmenting
Others are life restraining
Choose the one that suits you, for your dream
Determines the happiness of your life
We strive to be happy
But real happy are those
Who makes other happy
Devote your life
To the service of the humanity
And march ahead on the path of your life
With an undeviating vision
For the visionless people will perish
But people with vision will flourish
Because a vision provides hope
And hope provides dream
And dream provides the joy of living

This is excellent ---I loved the pic as well...and boy oh boy--aren't these words the TRUTH! We all need a break once in a while. One day you wake up and realize that your children are not babies anymore--they are fragile little people ...looking up and learning from you--it's moments like this--these fine poems we run in to that just remind us... life is so short and precious---we NEED to enjoy it a bit more :)
I'm an "Attitude Is Everything!" kinda gal, but thanks for the swift kick in the pants, Bhuwan. We all need to be reminded - again and again. Thanks for this one, my friend.

Very wise words indeed encased in a wonderful poem.
Bhuwan, this one moved me to tears. Why?Maybe because I realise I could use a break from my busy schedule to take a good look around. Each day our strengths are put to the test but it never should stop us from getting to where we want to be making our dreams & hearts that much bigger. So on that note I, home alone will run a nice bath and listen to a little classical music. Thanks friend for writing such a beautiful poem. I will read it again and again.
