The wind from blowing

I can stop
The rain from falling

I can stop
The sun from setting

I can stop
The river from flowing

But…

I cannot stop
My eyes from seeing you

I cannot stop
My mind from thinking about you

I cannot stop
My soul from perceiving you

And, I cannot stop
My heart from loving you
