Existence is insipid to my heart

Poem Artwork

Row not the boat of your love
on the ocean of my heart
it is infinite, you will never
reach its core; you can never
reach its shore.

The ocean of my heart
is flooded with the river of tears.
Love isn't its essence,
hysterical dance of the whirlpool
petrifies its soul.

Hewed by distress
the faith of my fate
subsists no more.
I am smiling
but catatonic is my core.

I see nothing
but the dolorous
lamentations
of my naked dreams
before me.

Existence
is insipid
to my heart
yet, I breathe
to deceive the God.

Forgive and forget me,
row your boat away
from the ocean of misery
before its voracious wave
consumes your ecstasy.

Autonomous is my spirit
look how the sky, is
enjoying its intercourse
with the sun,
I long to go there and heal my sore.

A wonderful write. Awesome imagery. Bhuwan, I've been so far behind in my reading - I didn't realize what was happening with you and your children. I'm so very glad that you and yours are safe and well.

A thousand hugs,
Tami
