Our Heaven on Earth, Nepal, our Pride,
Our domicile of God is free as infinite
as the Sun's portentous rays leading far and wide
its celestial balm to all alike!
Earth has, believe me, so little to show fairer
Than this, our facsimile, inimitable paradise;
Illustrious as far as Milton's ranging rhymes ,
Even to the Goddess it did add such delight
As manna slipped from the skirt of heaven
To eternize our Earth, an inward and an outward sign,
Adding celestials sublime here to shine more
Than Twilight on Earth, where Everest, ours, is
A Heaven's stairwell for all Nepalese tribes alive!
All Hail, holy land, clear offspring of Heaven,
From Heaven not far off, yes, in precincts of light
Where even God with Goddess dances
Hand in hand, from birthing dusk till dawn,
Eyes, theirs and ours, uplift in amazing pride

BHUWAN, I read the review yesterday...Vallance wrote about it long time back....and i knew if he makes such a remark, then there is some gemmata...and I found even more...You are a master poet, Bhuwan...How well you describe your motherland......as Gaye Dale has mentioned...it can hold true to India as well...of course we share a common heritage....still remember the days spent in Kathmandu...the Pashupatinath Shrine, the Pokhra...I forgot the name of the valley that follows Kathmandu...Shucks I was in standard v at that time!!!...
BRILLIANT work, and many more to come....BTW I have read the wonderful review of your work by Rowe Publishing...And am very happy for you...

Bhuwan!!!!!!!
As I began to read this, I thought.... 'This is New Zealand!'... You could so easily be writing this about New Zealand!!! In fact, this beautiful piece is the essence of what I would want to convey about our own fair portion of creation!!! Then I thought, how ironic that our own Sir Edmund Hillary should be the first to conquer Everest! There is a sisterhood between our two countries - both a treasured shadow of what is to come! Thank you for sharing of the beauty of Nepal - I can only dream of seeing it first hand, but am confident that, in fact, we already share something of its marvellous blueprint!
