In this my stagnant pond that neither sucks me under or lifts me upward moves me forward or backward I sit Contemplating whether I must of done something good Or did I do no good lead a useless life touch no one in any special way to be deserving Of love And all the fruits therein I would grab a rope if one were suspended above my head hold on tight and be lifted out Of this pit Clean up and run far far away from here! sometimes when a pond becomes stagnant, it is best wait for the storm to pass for the pond wil have become replenished ...
