We won't die in Venice

We won't die in Venice and you won't sink to the bottom -
we'll sail along the Grand Canal and drink prosecco.
We'll attend the Rialto Bridge Jewel Exhibition,
never to be forgotten like limoncello and amaretto.

Girl, you shine like rubies and firestones
We won't die in Venice, even if I'm just a bag of bones,
Honey, I'm good for a few more carnivals and festivals!

Beside the black coal, now we're as hard as diamonds,
sparkling and shining in Venice, The Serenissima,
I love her, her golden lions, seahorses and gondolas
never ever to be forgotten this first water town heaven.

We won't die in Venice, even if I'm just a bag of bones,
maybe even lab-grown in India - honey, I'm good
for a few more carnivals and festivals!

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
