Jason {Manny}
Jason is and was a dear sweet guy with a mischevious smile. He was easily hurt and very stubborn. But he was loyal to his friends and family. He came by the nickname 'Manny' in an amusing way. But sometimes it's hard to remember the exact way he acquired that silly nickname. But he didn't seem to mind it. Sometimes Jason couldn't get motivated, but he eventually got things done that he really wanted to do. I don't ever want to forget him and his funny little ways. He is and was so dear to us. I know his brothers and sisters will never forget his dear face. It's going to take a long time to get over this hurt. I don't think we ever will. Jason loved music, especially southern rock and played the guitar very well. He also love dogs and was always getting one. His dog, Samson, a ugly old pit mix, recently died after about 16 years. He didn't always pick the pretty dogs. But Jason loved him, and Samson loved him back.

The Silver cord has broken,
A breath of life has fled,
There’s no more thoughts or dreams for him,
For he's asleep in an earthen bed.
But the ground where he does rest,
The soul's no longer there,
Tho, he endured such grief and strife,
And constant battles he did bear.
But he's not going there to carry a sword,
In a battle for his life,
for the guitar that he played in life,
He now plays for the Lord.
Now as a life force wings it's way on high,
In the glow of the sun in the eastern sky,
As the western winds blow on silver sails,
in the golden glow of the moon so pale.
The golden cup has broken, a breath of life has fled,
No more dreams and thoughts for him,
He's asleep in an earthen bed.
