Lady A ... your digital art is 'fearless and intrepid.' I just saw an example of Peggy's digatal art also. I am highly impressed with this art. How do you create it? Is there a program I need to buy or where do I go to do it? Plese tell me Lady.
Anita, I have read all the comments on the poem and agree with
their assesment of your work. Beautiful as always with great feeling and rhythm.
I was looking at the last line of the first verse. It is the only one that doesn't maintain the rhyming pattern. And of course as a almost consumate rhymer (a few exceptions) it drew my attention.
"By tranquil shadows softly sleep
Composed in peace by slumber deep
In dreams as fragrant as the rose
A circle bloom softly grows (A circled bloom is softly rowed)
(or) A circle bloom softly rows
..... I can see were you might not want to use the last example
because it is so close to (rose - rows)

I found myself captivated by the artwork, Anita, and wanted to look for all the detail that must be lurking therein, like a Breugle (??sp??!!) or something. You have such an alive and complex mind that I don't want to miss A THING!! And then, your lyric poetry which is soft and flowing like fine and delicate lingerie... and yet piquant with unique ideas and metaphors. I just love the way you create your own Anita-language, making abstracts concrete nouns or adjectives. You don't write poetry, Anita, you ARE poetry! Another excellent example which we can only aspire to follow... Brava, Ms Bella Donna. Kate xx PS, no, the course starts in September and it is an MA for which I have no qualification except my portfolio and ceaseless smiling!! I just hope I won't be laughed out of court by the "real" writers!! I'll keep you posted, but for now, I'm just overjoyed at having been granted the opportunity! SMILE! ;))))
