Women keep a special corner of their hearts for sins they have never committed.  ~Cornelia Otis Skinner

BLESSED LEFT UNSAID

Bewitched by anticipation

When hope is on donation

Conviction levels certainities

The glass is clear as air

Abstractions pale by theories

As habits become dreary

Conclusions root from pampering

And on the Book....we swear!

The ease of path would beckon

As mutes.....no voice to second

That pause or hesitation

To think it thru again

Idle and impassive

That second thought too massive

To tip the scales of balance

To knock us off the fence!!!

Bumped to ground and visions

By contact of collision

After dusting off the dirt

A change of thought may birth

On those occasions rare

When rebel thoughts are shared

The shatter into icy glass

TO RAPE OUR VERY AIR!

Almost done with the ramble......

Ahhhhhhhhh

To linger is a luxury

To serve with ease, and always free

My thoughts will end upon these words

So judge me not....on whats unheard

Anita

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh - it

Yep, Anita, some things are best left unsaid. No matter the relationship, I honestly believe that there are some things we should spare our partners and family from knowing.
Take care,
Sherry

I agree and I said that I think in my piece about Newsweek look at the damage they did. Sometimes it is better to just walk away than to lose a friend.

Lady A,

You've captured what I've said all along--it's better to leave unsaid than to destroy someone with a rash word. But that don't stop me from thinkin' 'em sometimes LOL Can't be tried for what I'm thinkin' LOL

(((HUGS))) and love and continued prayers, Karla. :)

An intriguing, well written poem--BRAVA!
