Life Reborn By Death Of Deed
Scored and scarred upon the surface Sliced incisions whole by two Ripened by the tide of harvest Seasoned life, to die as juice
There upon the act of dying By hand of man, or winter's kill Vested pockets of the seedlings Life renews......ah.....yes it will!
So much might within the smallest! Such abundance in the seed! Seasoned life to die on harvest Life reborn by death of deed

This pen is awesome insight into the basics of living. It's the simplicity of slicing fruit and digesting it's harvest that, when applied to living, seems more profound. This is my kind of poem...one that teaches living and the inportance of life with simplicity. Will man ever realize that in the smaller details, living can be personified.

This is beautiful, profound, multi-leveled and just in time for the impending fall season. There is so much motion of change in your words but from within the change comes the rebirth. Like the morning glory that closes only to open again on the new day, your verses remind us that only through adaptation and change will we continue to evolve into something better. The person we are today is the direct result of all that we have survived, seen and learned. Excellent, Anita!
