Poem Artwork

Everybody's got a story, story......they like telling; over and over, and over, did I mention....over????

ha, yes ha, she said sarcastically

How can one hope to escape
When tangled up within red tape
With bracelet length to ball and chain
How does one leave and yet remain
Do drugs and drink provide egress
Or merely frustrate unexpressed
Would one by meditation trust
The leanings towards a wander lust
Do books and movies make it clear
By seeding thought to new idea
Do songs of old times liberate
With march alongs as ghosts vibrate
Migrating birds in form by line
With nature's instincts over time
Go south, escape the winter's chill
Fly over valley, lake and hill
All live on movement as the breath
Removes us all one hair from death
Each chew of food, to swallow fuel
Foundations in survival's tool
As words are read, and all is shared
Weight is parallel to air
Roll the loop of cycled earth
Ha........yeah ha...death brings rebirth

Let it go!

blah blah blah

I like the Blah blah blah part...
In a sense that in itself can be hormonal!
But nostalgia writes are therapy...in a good way, so what if someone else reads it...you got it out for the history books!
Nature inspires, trials we learn, shouldn't be forgotten...blah, blah, blah...I get what you mean, but whattaya gonna do?
Smiles to you Anita~

Hormonal?

I see more philosophical ponderings here than usual Anita. I like it!

I wonder if we were given the opportunity to have our lives and accomplishments completely erased to recieve more wisdom and understanding, who would start over again and pursue it.

Light and Wisdom ...

Wonder ryme. I must agree I agree with Andy. Dwelling on the past is like trying drive forward in reverse. Learn from it and then move on.
God Bless,

Whatever the cause, this is poetry sui generis. You should write more often during these times :o)

As with the poem, I love the graphic, too.

There should be a 'Hormonal' Category under the poetry listing section!

PS Love Your Graphic.

The phrase 'memories and regrets can kill you' sprang to mind...and perhaps that is so until we learn to let them go ...we will just keep on repeating - unique, thought provoking write. Panda :)

I agree with all here
itis easier said than done
and for some holding on to the pain or the memory of pain
is what's keeping them going

enjoyed this thought-lifting write

One must remove the shacckles of life and move forwards. I prefer escaping like the birds, even if hunters are a great hazard. Victor
