I love this Anita! It's a poem that makes happy feet....much better than "cruel shoes." Good job!

I was going to comment that if the shoes don't fit, they aren't your shoes, but that was before I read your great poem, Anita. Now I am left with only awe and no witty comments. Excellent job on this. You really should submit it to Highlights, Weekly Reader or Junior Scholastic. Kids really deserve to read this gem.

I knew a guy who had shoes for every occasion - took three pairs on holiday: one pair for walking along the beach, another for walking along the cliff tops, and another for walking the streets. That's not all. He also took two pairs of gloves: ones for driving with, and the others for routine wear. He also filed all his days' activities in an A - Z folder...I still drift - ramble some would say.
