Time cannot be contained, or fenced
Yet is forgotten, by varnished pretense
Time is the foundation, of moment"s rotation
Viewed with nostalgia, as self admiration
Remember the days of new as sung
Dismissed in that present, our glories when young
Pockets of wisdom, filled, and then spilled
Reaching within, when calm is instilled
Time has no measure, until one is dead
When all that had been, wanes on the ebb
For there in our moments, there where we breathe
Is our great gift, if we just believe
