This is so beautiful, Anita and the painting as well. If the painting on your latest offering "Kimono" is yours, Kudos!!! It too is stunning. I prefer acrylics to oils because of the drying factor that you mentioned in Paws and Bristles. Oil is, however, a bit more forgiving as you can cover darned near anything if you choose to. I think acrylic suits me best because I like to keep the flow of my idea going or else I lose my mental image of what I wanted to achieve. I am sooooooooo into immediate gratification and sooooo short of memory.LOL!

I tend to think of it as the flower, exhaling its lovely scent to attract the insect to carry out its reproductory obligation.
