Memories of a lover who had left. This is a poem dedicated to all of you lovers for tomorrow, February 14, 2012, Valentine's Day.
Here I am along the shores where
lovers walk today.
Alone again reflecting on this short time,
I played…
Of sights I have yet not seen and spirits
mine I have not yet explored.
In a short three days I remember affairs
I consummate, remembrance I cannot
afford.
For only in these shores they live and
leave I shall of them.
“Hush! My soul…don’t make me cry, let
tears fall not,
Though happiest I am when we meet, the
loneliest it is when we part.
They are gems, now, nothing more, them
who are loves of my life”.
Move on, move on, back to home I go,
towards another chapter, perhaps
to other loves, I’ve sworn
I pray that ghost shall not of past
be made
but ghosts must ghost turn flesh when
my lover returns to make love to me
once again.
