The beginning of a poem where we have taken a trip to Gualala, a town on the California Coast.

The road we travel together is long amidst the canyons, cypress and pines. The fog still sits by the coast as distressed homes awaits the sun to shine. Those bluffs and mountains still stand from time unspoilt ‘till now. And here I am with you, to Gualala we go, watching the bulls and cows.

An interesting theme for a poem. Earthquakes, fire, and erosion are taking their toll on those coastal mountains, rapidly eroding. Would like to see the rest of the poem.
