Poem Artwork

 The four seasons move on without cease:

Once year is gone, again a new one comes.

All things have alternations and successions,

Only Nine Heavens are out of destruction and decay.

Light in the east means dark in the west;

Blossom falls imply the coming bloom again.

It’s only a passenger in the Yellow Spring

Who enters the dark and does not come back.

Means to me don't look back to the past, but go on forward each year to the future.

it depends, Jan... if you are a cyclical habits person, you will definitly succeed, shortly; otherwise, your route is a long distance story to see you next life ;)) Alex

Interesting take in a truly 'foreign' language. Reminds me of the African saying, "The moon comes and goes and comes again. The Sun comes and goes and comes again. The stars come and go and come again. But man comes only once and does not come again." Your recent injection of a new way of saying (sometimes) the recognizable is disruptive in a challenging way. I welcome novelty but am struggling with the transition. Maybe it is time for me to start reading and listening again. Thanks. Jan
