Tea is nothing else but this:

First you make the water boil,

Then infuse the leaves;

Be focused and smooth

With your arm pull. . .

Then you simply sip it;

Hearken to the silence.

That's all you need to know

In order to make tea tasty.

Hence it is said, "Tea taste

Is that of meditation." Strictly!

I could not agree more.

A fine ode to an ancient and ever present brew, Alexander. Love and peace to you,

I have heard that commercial tea contains more caffeine than coffee, so that probably accounts for the addiction. If it does, tea would create a rush or a high that would be lie it being good for meditation. Unless, heightened awareness is meditation.

Silence seems to be the key ingredient in making the tea. A unique thought that makes this poem much more than just making tea, even if it is an acquired skill in its own right. Yes, this works well. John
