Every night, before bed,
We pray. We pray
For our well-being
Of tomorrow --
Our fleeting new day,
New lords, new laws,
New faces, new games,
Though they be so.
That's what our mind
Of the present instant
Makes the most for us,
Vanishing itself away,
Like the yesterday's haze,
And making us bully off
The tomorrow's challenges.

The eternal cycles goes on and plays out. Yesterday becomes tomorrow with all the hopes and dreams attendant. And yes, we pray to meet tomorrow's challenges. Thanks for reminding us. John
