From the very beginning The Buddha Gautama Was not a godlike, not of a kind. Moreover, he thought It was quite odd That people were used To go all around The worshipping idols To be their devoted admirers. It looks even more mindless That a handful of beans Is boiled in a huge pot Filled up to the brim With the vegetable oil. This however deserves Quite a serious talk, As there is a mass of whims In the modern world.

It won't amount to a hill of beans? My brief time in South East Asia afforded me many effigies of Buddha where you had to buy gold to put on him or incense to burn for him. Sure looked like idol worship to me.
