The smart is he who can come forth
But from nowhere; who can re-enter

Such one has a real existence, but

He has continuance, but it has nothing
To do with beginning or ending.
Yes, such one has a real existence,

Because of his relationship to space;

Such is his relationship to time.
He has life, and he will have death;
He comes forth, and he will re-enter,
But we do not see his appearance--
All this we call the Portal of Heaven.
The Portal of Heaven is non-being itself--
All the myriad things come from it.
The first existence could not bring itself
Into existence -- it must have come
From non-existence; and non-existence
Is just the same as what is known
As non-existing, which is the main secret
Of all the contemporary kings for a day,
Whereas Moses with those ten plagues remains.

As a nonbeliever, I celebrate all of the religious holidays like Passover, Christmas, and Easter because I get time off from work and can use that time for valuable relaxation, writing and other things. All while getting paid.
