The Dome of Shiva. I like the phrase with the Jewish meaning of sitting in respect for the dead. When I sat shiva, I felt like I was in my own dome or bubble, separate from everyone else.

I did a little research and found that the "never conquered summit" has a deeply religious meaning. Four religions consider the mountain to be sacred for one reason or another. Therefore, in deference to those religions, climbers have not attempted to summit the mountain although some have planned, and then changed their minds when persuaded either by religious authorities, local people or other mountaineers.
Kudos for having portrayed Kailash so well. Unfortunately, Mount Meru has been conquered several times from various routes and only once along its "Shark's Fin" route in 2011. A documentary was made of that climb.
