Poem Artwork

Due to my numerous duties,
I've found it hard to spend time
On something I am passionate,
Which often makes me feel guilty.

Scars and cuts like that of a knife
To the core of my bleeding heart --
This is just what I need at this stage
Of my life to start from scratch, again.

An interesting image (in context). It's intriguing to me that you've written a piece with this gist, Alexander. I feel out of balance at times. Wondering if my inclinations aren't just my fears attached to rules. A germane piece. Thank you. Peace... r

The rich have always been afraid of the poor. Being rich, somehow gave them power over poor people all around them. They thought they were better because they were rich and others were not. Hence, down through history the rich have accepted the role of abuser and protector of the poor.

Well written and well said…

Ron

On the Edge of Words by Debra Kraft

Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
