We'll be at the gallery tonight -- A new exhibit of new sparkling talents Will be radiant with a new set of mind. There will also be some nihilists With a common bunch of gossips And rumours -- Hush! Sh-sh-sh. . . Maybe our get-together is not always fair; Maybe we were too long in the pitch dark, But we never forget the word Brightness. The Brightness of Arts is what won't let us Be lost on the way to our last moorage. From there we'll cast off. Amen. �

The brightness as a metaphor for the potential collective energy of many humans in concert is an intriguing choice. Like it.

Lately you seem to have changed your style of writing poetry greatly. I find that quite interesting. This poem sends me a message that it is better to come together with a lot of other people and share our ideas than to stay in our own little hideaways with our work shrouded in mystery.

Indeed, I fully agree, no matter how long we are lost in the darkness, we never forget the idea (the word) brightness. That is the best point to "cast off."
