I've had this title in my head for many, many months now. I believe the phrase, or something similar was in an old song, perhaps Tom Jones' lyrics?
Anyway, tonight after work I decided to start the actual poem and see where it would lead me. Here we are, four hours later, after mucho revisions. I usually reach a stage, where I print out the first draft, then re-read and edit the 'hard copy'. Then, I massaged it a little more, and printed the second draft. This, then is the third, and final draft.
Don't know whether youse guys use GOOGLE or not, but I LOVE IT! Any time I'm unsure of spelling, or getting the correct reference for a past mythological or historical word - I just punch it into GOOGLE, and Voila! they always have something.
As always, your thoughts, suggestions, and comments are, as my Dad always said: "Welcome as the flowers in May!"
OH - yeah - two completely different women, totally 'worlds' apart, provided the inspiration for the 'Amour' feelings. Hope you like it. Tom.

You have something, yourself, God, your family, and your writing. I did like this commentary though as hard as it was for you to write, it gives me something to ponder over.

I love the adore you lines, they have the perfect rhythm. This has a great classical sound and I enjoyed all the classical imagery. Well done!
A romantic gem beautifully written and expressed! It looks fine in form to me, but the editor is a wayward beast that does as it wants and drives me crazy too;-)!!!
Anything you can do - to IMPROVE the editor??? It is VERY disconcerting to spend HOURS formatting a piece to be EXACTLY how you want it to be presented - THEN - when you click SUBMIT, the entire piece does what IT WANTS!
WRAPS lines, leaves single words dangling by themselves! Further, the SIZE selection on fonts also is terrible! Anywhere else in the universe, one is able to choose a specific POINT size - NOT HERE! Small, Medium & LARGE just do NOT CUT IT !!!

Your hard work paid off, it is an exxcellant poem, but why couldn't you have used "normal-sized" type to post it? Jeez! Us old guys have trouble with that agate type.
