ARCHAIC APHORISMS © - Tom Hyland - 01-29-09 A Bird in the Hand is better than a WMD hidden in a BUSH! If at First you don’t Succeed, have your Brother Rig the Election Returns! Don’t like the Constitution? Change it - by Executive Order! Habeas Corpus? What’s that? I don’t know no Latin! My English ain’t real good either! Valedictorian I’m not! Blood for Oil? You got to be Kiddin’ - Right? Haliburton does What? For How Much? WOW! I didn’t know that! Tell me again - Dick, you SHOT Who? Yeah? Well, my Dad didn’t get Him - I Did! So There! Screw the Geneva Convention! It’s NOT Torture! I had FUN when I was a ‘Fly Boy’ in the Air Force Reserves - When I WENT! Management Skills? Just look at My Oil Companies’ Failures! The History Book will Prove I was Right - the One I Write! A Cherubic Smile and a “S**t-Eatin’ Grin” - what more does a C-I-C need? Civilian Casualties? OOPS! That’s just Collateral Damages! Electricity in Baghdad? Heck, we’ve only been workin’ on it for FIVE Years! MY CLAIM TO FAME? CRAIG FERGUSON’S PRESIDENTIAL QUOTES! ARCHAIC - no longer useful or efficient. Just try saying "archaic aphorism" ten times without stopping. It will come close to listening to a #43 speech.
