THE GREAT FLOOD! LOTZ OF H2O .... CAN YOU SWIM? FOREVER?

THE ARK N’ OLE MOSES © - Tom Hyland - 11/12/11 Two by Two They Went Aboard - ‘Twas The Instruction From The Lord. All Creatures, Great and Small - Most Short - Some Tall! So Many Cubits Long - So Many Cubits Wide - So Many Cubits High - Soon The Rain - Then The Tide! Took Years To Build - And People Laughed - Once Loaded - Some Mothers Calved! Birds Of A Feather - And Mammals Galore - Much Food Stocked - Then Closed Was The Door! The Torrential Rains Then Began - Was It Forty Days And Forty Nights? Non-Believers Started Treading Water - All Filled With Dreadful Frights! When The Deluge Finally Subsided - The Ark Had Traveled Near and Far - Once - Land Had Been Divided - Now - None Seen - Was the Par! One By One - Doves Were Released - But None Returned - Survivors Were Not Too Pleased - Was Man by God Truly Spurned? Then, One Day A Dove Appeared - With Something In Its Beak - It Truly Was Certainly Endeared - An Olive Twig - With An Angle Oblique! Success! Land Ho! Unseen As Yet - But Obviously Nearby - Which Direction Should We Go? North - South - East - West - Which is Dry? This Answer - We Do Not Know - Did The Ark Go To And Fro? Eventually It Was On Mount Ararat - That This Huge Boat Finally Sat! So - That’s My Version Of - The Story of The Ark - An Old Bible Tale - On Which We Did Embark. As We End - No longer Linger - Did You Notice - There Was A ‘Zinger’? Ole Moses Was Not Involved - Ole Noah Built The Boat! Zinger Resolved! © - TKH.

They were all two by two,
Except for you know who;
Why Noah brought Jersey Devil,
Is still debated, at all levels.

And the way all the icebergs and glaciers,
Are these days, now all rapidly melting away,
You best start building TomKat's New Ark today.
