Funny thing happened to me
On the way to the Forum yesterday -
I BOUGHT MY THIRD ‘SILVER’ CAR!
What is it?
We’ll get to that later -
It was a grueling Four-Hour ordeal -
But we ‘Got ‘Er Done!’
Thank God for Hardheaded Irishmen!
On the prior Sunday morning -
Saw Liberty Ford’s Infomercial on TV -
Sounded real good - called and gave credit Info -
Got Confirmation number - and ...
Jumped in Ole Silver 2 at 11 AM -
Forty-Five minutes later arrived at Dealership
Way out in Randallstown, MD.
CLOSED ‘Tighter than a Drum!”
OOPS! I was RED with Anger -
Went on to a Ravens Football Party -
Couple ‘Bloody Marys’ chased away the ‘BLUES!’
WE WON! Yeah Team!
Back to the Future -
Monday night sent a Scathing email -
ATTN: General Manager & Sales Manager -
Was Not a ‘Happy Camper.’
Tuesday at Noon arrived there -
Loaded with: copy of Email - Title - Insurance Info -
Asked for Sales Manager - met Steve Knolle -
He had not seen my Complaint.
After a quick scan of the Email -
He apologized, looked up the vehicle
I wanted - a 2010 Chevie HHR -
OOPS! It was SOLD on Saturday! Bummer!
He assigned his Best Salesperson to me -
Shalanda Nix - She is GOOD!
Two Test Drives ensued -
But, ALAS! Both were too expensive!
A ‘Meeting of the Minds’ finally occurred -
After -Four hours of ‘Negotiating’ -
And it only took me Another Hour -
To Transfer All of my ‘JUNK!’
But, ultimately, I pulled away at Five PM -
A ‘Happy Camper’ in my ‘new’ Used -
Hi-Yo Silver III - a 2007 FORD Fusion -
3.5L V-6 with Sun-Roof!
Roof Wide Open -
6-Speaker Stereo System Blasting Away -
“Hi-Yo Silver - and Awaaaaaay!”
‘Who WAS that Masked Man?’
Okay now I am envious...turning green in the computers reflection, but i know I got to live with the old girl I am driving for awhile longer...expecially with my BAD credit...Congrats on the car, Tom, hope it works out good for you...I think it might only have though the 3.0 engine as I don't see any 3.5 models that year, and again I could be wrong...good luck with you "new" car...ed
