DO YOU FEEL A 'RANT' COMIN' ON ? I DO !!!

ENTITLEMENTS ? © - Tom Hyland - 5/15/13 1. The right somebody has to do or receive something. 2. A thing to which somebody is entitled. I am Sick & Tired of all the Hoopla with Politicians Linking: Social Security with Medicare and Medicaid ! Social Security has Absolutely NOTHING to do with Either! My First Full-Time Job Started in 1958. I Retired in 2006. That's 48 Years! In All Those Years, Part of My Hard-Earned Money Was Deducted Through 'Payroll' ... AND ... Each Employer MATCHED All Those Deductions! IF ANYBODY IS ENTITLED TO ANYTHING ... I AND ALL THE OTHERS OF MILLIONS OF WORKERS ... EARNED OUR MEAGER SSA CHECKS! Nobody GAVE us Anything! Congress Sure As Hell Didn't! They Gave Themselves Raises! They Gave Themselves a Special Separate Retirement Plan! Then, Screwed Us Over for Two Years ... No Cost-Of-Living Raise ... Because 'They' Said So! These Same, Greedy, Rich SOB's Who ... Repeatedly TRY To Take SS Trust Funds Away! ENTITLEMENTS ? Likewise, Every Year Since Medicare Started in The 60's ... Payroll Deductions Came Out of My Money ... That's Over 40 Years! Now, When We Seniors Are Old, Retired, and Sick ... Those Same Rich SOB's Want to Cut Back Our Benefits! FIE ! FOUL ! UNFAIR ! Anyway You Cut It ... SOCIAL SECURITY & MEDICARE ARE INSURANCE PLANS ! NOT "HAND-OUTS ! ENTITLEMENTS ? LET'S LOOK AT THE RICH: 'They' Can Afford: The Best Cars ... The Best Homes ... The Best Schools ... The Best Lawyers ... The Best CPA's ... The Best Health Insurance ... The Best Life Insurance ... The Best Disability Insurance ... The Best 401-K's & Retirement Plans ... The Biggest & Best Investments ... To Hide Money in Swiss Bank Accounts ... To Evade Taxes with Off-Shore Accounts ... To Reap Capital Gains at Reduced Rates ... To Pay Somebody Else: To Mow Their Lawns ... To Watch their Kids ... To Clean Their Houses ... TO WIPE THEIR STINKING DIRTY BUTTS ! And ... more - More - MORE ! ENTITLEMENTS ? 'THEY' HAVE IT ALL ... BUT BEGRUDGE ALL US LITTLE GUYS ! I Have Only Two Words For Those Rich SOB's ... F * * K YOU ! (C) - TKH.

Ho!!! How much alike our thoughts are, Tom! (I've said this many times before, and you to me :-)Thank you for writing more like this to print. The Un-Hooded Vultures keep getting greedier and greedier by controlling so many jobs (sent overseas) and lowering wages and safety conditions for what left here in U.S. Patriots, huh???!!! And our Legislative Branch of Govt. have become nothing more than CWs*. 80% of the Entitlements are shared by the above as Tax Deductions! Dang...and Double Dang!

Tom, I had no idea you were so articulate...and brilliant...and so accurate! I would add just one more fact: Since both SS and Medicare are funded separately, neither has contributed one dime to the federal deficit or to the public debt.
