STARTLED IN MY SLEEP

BY A HOWLING SCREECH

I OPEN ONE EYE

AND SEE SOMETIMG

POINTED COMING

RIGHT AT ME

 

IT IS POINTED

AND BLACK

AND WHACKS MY CHIN

THE TIP OF AN

EAR

AND A BLACK CAT

HITTING MY CHIN.

Black cats are supposed to be lucky...and they are... but being woken by one, Susan, in this fashion could well make you think otherwise.
