The economics of marijuna

The Money Tree

So money does grow on trees

It's taken this long to see

That the most valuable things in life are free!

When I was a child

I would ask my mommy

To buy toys and things I see

And she would always say to me

"Child what you think

Money grow pon tree?"

I couldn't understand why

Money didn't grow on trees

Everything else came from trees

The clothes we wear

The food we eat

Even the place we live and sleep

So why money didn't grow on trees?

But now I am no longer a child

I found out why the illusion, the lie

Was to keep I down to break I pride

Cause money does grow on trees

The Ganja Tree!

Cause money does grow on trees

The Ganja Tree!

Cause the Ganja Tree is a money tree!

Economical freedom for you and me!

The Ganja Tree is a money tree!

Economical freedom for you and me!

But listen seriously

To the benefit of Ganja as a tea

Glaucoma, sickle cell, anemia

Cancer and aids

Are only a few of our modern plague

That Ganja is necessary to sustain

Life without pain

Cash crop they call it back then

But now they want to pretend

It’s an illegal substance

If it’s not in the hands of their physicians

Marijuana by the ounce more valuable than gold!

Marijuana by the ounce is like medicine for the soul!

Sounds like a conspiracy!

And that’s why they take it from me!

The Ganja tree is the money tree

Money for you, money for me

Liberate the tree and let it grow free!

The Ganja tree is the money tree

Economical freedom for you and me!

The Ganja tree is the money tree

Economical freedom for you and me! Yeah!
