Just a poem of my haphazard way of doing things.

A Man Without a Plan

I have never had a plan in my life,

In essence born without a midwife,

I cannot even say I did it my way,

Just a bewildered cat on a busy highway

Bungled through from the very start,

Nothing but sheer emotion, never smart,

Always hoping for the very best,

And, quite frankly, to heck with the rest

Not always sure what was going on,

Just went in feet first and hands-on,

Like a hapless chicken in mid-air,

Flapping like hell but going nowhere

But, it would seem I’ve muddled through,

Still a way to go yet, that’s very true ,

But, if there’s something out there up high,

It sure likes me, and I don’t know why?

I guess we're all muddling through....well written, Ross.

Although you're hard on yourself, you're on the right track; there is someONE "out there" and He loves you. In fact you are loved "so much that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever (including Ross) believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Now, how do you like that?
Very seriously, God loves us unconditionally, and is seeking a response from each of us.
Prayerfully,
Connie

Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
