A poem about grief

Poem Artwork

Grief can eat you up from the inside
and it seems like there is nowhere to hide
it has its rules with which to abide
and you find yourself swept along with the tide

Sometimes it seems like a canyon so wide
with feelings your not able to confide
it dosn't let up even though I have tried
I can't get off this rollercoaster ride

My emotions feel like they have been fried
they have not healed although I have cried
to grief and saddness I still feel so tied
but wait, was that a glimpse of light I spied

Sounds like there is growth in your grief and that more grieving will bring full relief. A nice growthful poem.

Your photo expresses the depth of the grief so still and silent and how sometimes we never really get over, though we must move forward...

Be always safe,
Karen
