Pristine Greeting

Good morning, dreams in pristine light.

The world has hushed its steps
and has downed serene robes
of silky hues, has tuned its heartbeats
to the misty serenity of your own
regal silence.

Yes, you are regal dreams
and you are entering the archway
of day with the graciousness
the never obvious majesty of your
bearing, so simple.

Crowns of deep emotions you wear
fashioned of all the precious metals
of action, which could have been swords
to strike deeds of greed dead
if only they were not wrought as
circles of wisdom upon your brow.

So, they strike realities alive
instead, those realities humbled
yet exalted by your passage
as the deeds of greed turn
their glare down, toward the mud.

Mud… but who thinks of mud
along this path of subtle, magical sun
shedding pillars of crystal upon
a ground of awakening grass and dew
from a sky as milky and sweet
as the first flow from the breast
of a goddess feeding her first born?

Good morning, breath in pristine dreams.

The world may not be quite conscious yet
of how ready it truly is to welcome you
and to inhale your magnitude.

But see how it has hushed its steps
and has downed serene robes
and has tuned its essence
to this miracle, this magic
this noble hiatus where time
is just waiting for the intake of you
to then exhale the freedom
the peace of your pure greatness
and then… yes, and then go on.

Good morning, world in pristine breath.

Yes, each new day has a freshness all its own, ready to be inhaled. This poem makes me think about how the birds awake and greet the morning with song. Beyond what I think, this poem is a poetic masterpiece. Good to see you emerging, once more, from the cocoon.

Amo te muito, meu Anjo,
Joseph

Something very personal flows through this for me. To perfect ourselves, to be flawless in the light of the world's invitation welcoming us anew each morning with fresh breath and to be perused, the world looking for the finest points of light, kinship links, and pathfinders. These types are powerful and yes, the world is not quite sure of these ones' magnitude, so we push forth to impress the world with all of the wisdom of flawless brilliance that we can and share it, as does this poem, Alexandra. Much peaceful light to you and Joseph.
