for a day of resurgence
may such day be a path of petals
scattered before your steps
by that faith which your soul
has sent ahead of you.
may those petals be of light beginning
to unfurl before your vision
as it reaches for the other side of darkness
with outstretched hopes.
may their many scents become
the very essence of the air you breathe;
yet, may their unique textures
become never a mat of indistinct substance
to be trod on, upon your ground.
may you sense, in all perceived wounds
more petals forming; and may all sorrows
be the only ones bleeding to death as resurgence
blossoms, in all hues of love, from old thorns
within your heart.
may you progress along this path of petals
and I with you, in peace.
and should we follow at a different pace
may the one further ahead encourage
the other one to walk on, with no fear.

There are few who reach deeply enough within their hearts in search of words that are worthy to be offered as a blessing to others. You are one of those Rare Artists. The gift of this poem, especially the last two stanzas, provides the reader with those petals of light that can help guide humanity on a path of Love. What a truly gorgeous poem for this special season.
