Poem Artwork

this poem he writes...

his glance writes a poem upon her bare shoulders.
it is a rather extraordinary poem, blending concept
and its expression in sensitive, yet touchable lines
that glide along the skin, pausing when they reach
what might well begin a new stanza, and then pondering
in unhurried revisions – a warmly fingered verse here,
or perhaps a more ardent canto flaring from the lips
there – whether to follow the arched invitation
of her neck, or to linger on the scent of that pulse
at the hollow of her throat, or, conceivably, to plunge
into the daring lushness of a ballad with the cadence
of waves cresting in a summer ocean, between her breasts.
yes, from here, this writing might lead anywhere – even
beyond any actual words defining a form, classical
or reinvented, or entirely, delectably new.
so, you will have to read the yet unspoken ripening
of the poet’s creation as if it were so lusciously indescribable,
that, to fathom it, instead of her bare shoulders, you would have
to imagine peaches, sweet and pulpous, and a bare desire
of biting into them, instead of a glance…

*

dear friends and fellow authors, I want to thank you for continuing to read and comment on my works and to apologize for having failed to do the latter (but not the first!) for a long time, now. those of you who may have visited the OneLight*® Authors & Creations website recently, are aware of a lot of projects going on, involving not only Joseph* and myself, but many other authors and their works. these projects, forcibly neglected while we both had to deal with some health issues (first me and then Joseph*) are now demanding if not my full attention, at least a great deal of it, so it has not been easy to find the time and the concentration needed both for writing and for commenting on other writings after having "plunged deeply" into them. this has been an ongoing tendency which will hopefully change soon, so, once more, my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your support and your understanding. with all my affection,

Alexandra*

Oh my Xuxa,

You see so well through my eyes that you read my very breath as clearly as you read my thoughts. You feel, so well, the sensation of my moistened lips upon your skin as you do the vibrations of love emanating from my heart. Our dance, then, is unrehearsed yet we flow together in perfect harmony and rhythm. Oh, how I adore you minha Poema!

Love Always,
Teu Xoxo

Alexandra three points:
A. this graphic is utterly deliciously and provocatively beutiful and very sensual, is it you?
B. The poem that you wrote here is breathtaking and so completely compliments the pic that I found myself actually going back and forth between the two reading the lines
C. No need for apologies, we all have times when we need to get our own lifes on track before any thing else.

So good to see you back though,

Hugs,
Fee

Beautifully-written poem praising glories of a female shoulders.

Don't worry about anything, take care of yourself and Joseph first. Your health is very important. I do hope so you both will regain your health very soon.
