"eternal return" was the theme proposed by the Entrecampos (Lisbon, Portugal) workshop of collective poetry for the latest collective work by its members, to be finalized by all the participants on sept. 30th. here are my two entries, illustrated by two paintings by Freydoon Rassouli.

I return from the white moon to the tea in the leaves of the eternal mulberry tree. upon the lips of silk the thirst white to your own my love returns. we drink…

eternal not even the return to the shore the eternal shore of the wave the eternal wave… for it is never the same the drawing on the sand the eternal sand when departs eternally departs the wave… nor is it the same wave the eternal wave returning eternal drawings but never the same to the same eternal shore…
(I would like to apologise once more for my irregular participation in this forum's activities and very infrequent interaction with you all here in AD. The reasons, of which the main one has been the ongoing frantically busy tendency of this summer, do not include any lack of interest in your works, which I continue to read as the opportunities arise and so many of which I sincerely admire and enjoy. The magnitude of this composition is vast, splendid in its own merging right/write, the goddess's soul resting among the eternal sparkling pool of eternal life, perhaps as timeless and effervescing as the Fountain of Youth. The image fixes itself in my mind and I want it to continue on to see what is around the next corner, the next life. This poetry and art reveals something very deep, an aura where everything turns back into its original...you partake in a life of satisfying work, Alexandra...

Never before have two poems been so perfectly entwined. This duet is absolutely brilliant in concept and they read so beautifully, so naturally. I highly admire and respect your amazing talent.
I know that you write them as they come to you but I have to tell you that I believe your best work is accomplished when you first write in Portugués ... just my personal opinion.
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
