Windmills of our minds doth churn out words
albeit setting sun, rising moon or in between
some deep, some shallow
some just to laugh out loud...in a state of mind
with the alphabet set free, given voice by the poet
agree or begging your pardon to disagree
Tumbleweeds running via a southerly wind to begin
words now and forever tumbling to be heard, giving
life by perception of noteworthiness from the mastery
of a poet ending in fluent artistry
Some of sensuous romance, some of intrigue and mystery,
some of animals and the planet, but all unique in stories
left behind in books of poetry, complex or simplistic
legacies that we lived in reality...or even created our
own vivid and imagined perfect uninhibited world
Extol words of a sunset or rising moon by viewing
the portrait as painted by the life of a poet from their
crown of wreaths... true victors of laurel by yen of worth

Such a fine way to pay tribute to "poets," Vivian. Thank you. Love and best wishes to you,
